Epic achievements

My book in a library

Meeting my idols.

Discovering a

Part of my soul and future

Just by being lost.

Thanks for markets.

Thanks for the red phone boxes.

Thanks you underground.

Camden brings me joy

Travelling around the world

With all five senses.

When my mind goes blank

There’s always something to do

Inside Chinatown

Bathtubs on the street

Policemen chasing cats and dogs

Falling over bears

Paddington Station

Will be mine for the taking

Like monopoly

Buckingham Palace

For tea and biscuits with the

King and Queen at noon.

Midnight buses are

Full of vibrant characters

One could be your friend

All the conventions

Reachable within public

Transport will be fun

London never sleeps

London always bursts colour

London never stops

London can never

Be broken down or destroyed

London shall remain

For the good and bad

We will always love London

The best capital.

Who are the idols you met in London or is that another Vocal story? This poem is enticing me to visit London 💗
