This is for everyone out there sick of lockdowns, who just wants COVID-19 to go away. Lockdown's are necessary to help keep us safe but that don't mean you don't get the lockdown blues.

I wake up in the morning,

I check the news,

Oh no they have done it again,

I’ve got the lockdown blues.

Delta is out there,

We’re all scared,

Why can’t it just go away?

Can’t wait until Tuesday.

Stuck in our homes,

With nothing to do,

Why won’t it rain?

To suit my mood.

Sun is shining,

It’s gorgeous out there,

But I’m stuck in here,

I’m so sick of living in fear.

It’s the goddamn lockdown blues.
