Short and sweet
Free verse and haiku
I have collected together a few shorter pieces that I've decided to put here on a page, they include free verse and some haiku. All have been previously published before on my Instagram page or by the Deakin Writers Club, earlier on this year.
They are presented to you, in alphabetical order.
Hibiscus heaven
Hibiscus heaven,
In the botanic gardens,
Echoes of childhood.
As previously published by me, on Instagram.
Indelible
He was as indelible to her,
As the ink on her skin.
He was her grace, or
He gave it back to her.
As previously published by Deakin Writers Club on Facebook and Instagram.
Jacaranda blooms
Jacaranda blooms,
Everywhere there is purple,
Carpeting the ground.
As previously published by me, on Instagram.
Vines are strangling
In the rainforest,
Layers of green all around,
Vines are strangling trees.
As previously published by me, on Instagram.
I hope you enjoyed these short and sweet poems of mine.
