Little girl loving life
She has yet to know strife
She only dances in the wind
And plays with her friends
Little girl who has her first heartbreak
Her first real loss
She does not think she can go on
Little girl that now knows strife
She curses at the wind
And pushes away her friends
This little girl
Who is no longer little
Big girl that has been shaped through trials
She knows who she is
And she loves herself for it
She no longer dances at the wind but sings to it
She no longer plays with her friends but talks to them
Beautiful woman that loves to live

CHAPTER 15 I pulled up in front of Sandy’s a little early, so I texted Becca again and left a message for Sharon, hoping she had a good day and I’d see her tomorrow. Two cars pulled into Sandy’s driveway. I don’t know why I was surprised to see another man with her. We’d been apart for two years and I certainly didn’t waste any time getting back on the horse.
