The winter's storms ranted, raged, and roared,
Causing damage that most couldn't afford.
Inside, we all sat,
With a fluffy cat,
Waiting for power to be restored.

I wanna be that cat! ๐๐
Aww! Nothing like a cozy fire and a fluffy cat to help pass a storm.
I love the photo you chose to go with this poem, Denise. I can feel it!
Thank God for the fireplace for light and heat. And, always, thank God for the cat!
Cozy and relatable!๐๐๐งก๐
Oh dear, I have had this same experience. It's loads of no fun.
With winter's fury, you've got a furry... Great poem. ๐
Thank goodness for snug homes and furry cats. I enjoyed this limerick, Denise!
I love the coziness of this one, although being without power isn't fun.
