To her

To deter my eyes from the Eternal,

Ever loving she would entrance me

With the mesmerising movement

Of her curved forms.

And in the elegance of the night,

Together we danced and danced

Like the great satyrs of the woodlands

As my clothes slithered off my body

Unknowingly devoting myself

And paying homage

To the deceitful morning star.

She started with my heart,

Then my mind,

Leading her way to my soul,

One by one selling them to him.

She danced me to the end of myself

And of love just like she promised.
