LIKE THE MOON

If you loved her like you love the moon

Wore her out from September until June.

All you did was blind her.

Like the night that makes things blur

Left her shattered in the blue.

Nothing new, hell, nothing new

Where are those sunny days now?

If she must smile, on her own.

But the marks you left can never be shown.
