Lighters in the air
The weekend rave ballade
The winds are freezing on the new year's night
But inside is that sweet false sensation
Never though these days were something to write
Especially when losing narration
So allow me to write a citation
Making my youthful meaningless joy bare
As many weekends pass by the nation
That feeling of your lighter in the air
*
Staying until early hours of daylight
Swallowing bliss without hesitation
A horrible bitter Taste if you bite
Then comes the loud musical rotation
The bass heard and felt was my sedation
The lights more visible to stop and stare
Forgetting once more your own location
That feeling of your lighter in the air
*
Feeling the music this way a birth right
My feet now numb as if in floatation
My stomach's rejection I try to fight
My soul released from it's hibernation
With no worries of my life's stagnation
Sounds of loud music left me unaware
And the endless touch of it's vibration
That feeling of your lighter in the air
*
Every time I lost some aspiration
With that sensation beginning to wear
Off the train and exiting the station
That feeling of your lighter in the air
About the Creator
Hywel Latimyr
I kinda suck at writing but I enjoy it
Anyway, here's a dumb little haiku:
The gunslinger draws
His opponent does the same
oh dear, they both died
