Sit down on the ground
Get closer to the earth
A thousand times you have been birthed
To and from this world
Caught in the eternal whirl
Between dark and light
Coming and going
Gravity and flight
Never remembering
But ever-knowing
I am not from here
I am not this flesh
I act as a mirror
An expression of Mahesh
I heed the call to consciousness
Miracles abound
Eyes maintain steady watchfulness
Feet firm on the ground
A higher element
Has been invoked in me
Spiritual development, revealment
So I seek so shall I be
Growing toward liberation
Freedom unbound
In depth of meditation
Holy peace resounds
Heightened awareness
Vulnerable, bareness
Prana vibrates through me
Intertwining humanity and spirituality
I was lent this body, this life, this land
All things will pass
Upon God’s command
Live now
Joyfully
Creatively, courageously
Vow
To know
Your spirit, your precious soul
Let jai lead soul’s way
Across sky’s stars and milky way
Spirit whispers into night
Open the heart to find gold
Live peacefully but be bold
You are a warrior of the light
Unto this destiny you must uphold
