LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL

Many a times our journeys do not start off on the right foot. Like babies when we learn how to walk we fall and rise, mastering courage with every step we take.

In life we journey through storms, climb dangerous mountains, cross fierce rivers and stroll through quiet valleys, sometimes with people and other times alone by ourselves. Animals of the wild, ugly looking or beautiful, weak or strong meet us at every corner, challenging our journey with obstacles or blessing us with their splendor. Like the apostles in the Book of 1 Corinthians 4:8-10 (Amplified Bible), "we are hard pressed in every way (hedged in), but not crushed; perplexed (unsure of finding a way out), but not driven to despair; hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted (to stand alone); struck down, but never destroyed; always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the (resurrected) life of Jesus may also be shown in our body."

Yet in all these experiences that we go through, we come out more stronger, having more humility, courage, empathy, understanding and love than before. We understand life well because we have been broken. We understand pain and we are able to offer comfort to others. We bless and encourage the weak. This is the life of Christ and we have been called. Our journeys have been predestined by God and He loves us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
