Lift the shades from your eyes
A poem about confidence.
How would you be able to see a force not meant to be reckoned with? A silent hurricane that will slowly leave a trail of destruction in its path.
The price one pays for this kind of confidence is scary. No one talks about it, but life is always about balance.
You must hurt and feel deep pain before you can achieve acceptance. Acceptance that you give yourself, or to your peers.
Acceptance comes in many forms, and each scenario changes. Only you can identify your own acceptance, and it is up to you to decipher its language.
When you do, you will be able to see it. It’ll reveal itself to you when you’re ready. When you have reached the point of no return.
You have changed, and through your rebirth, a new you.
A you that only you could need.

The nerves of steel
Ignorance and overall lack of consideration for others in any form. Tolerance. What is tolerance? The ability to give no care to a situation. Maybe just a little care. An inkling of a care. The light at the end of the tunnel and you just have to see it care. Tolerating it, you, them. Tolerance at its finest sifted through the vast ocean of small talk, the forest of surrounded by the trees, and finely tuned by the biggest smiles but quietest mouth.
