We started as strangers
Following the tide,
Only to cross paths
As the current passed by.
We later clicked
Like a mouse on a keyboard,
We became best friends
And we didn't see an end.
You have a warm heart
You're no scrouge,
Unlike the people
Who gave it the blues.
Heartbreak made you strong
Wonder Woman you are,
Your smile shines so bright
You could be a star from a far.
We guide each other through this world
Like the navigation in a car,
Don't need anybody else
We're two peas in a pod.
I love you always and forever
Until the world ends,
And even then
I know we'll be together again.

When the Robots Took My Job
This is for RM Stockton's Write Club prompt for the month of April: AI Please allow me to vent. For "college," I went to a scam school that is now closed. We were promised internships that were never spoken of again after admissions, and we were promised help finding jobs. The first time I went to the career counselor's office, she was completely frazzled. She had no idea what to do with us, the film majors. The second time I visited her office, I let her know that I'd found myself a job, and she was visibly relieved.
