Observe this web of lies you've spun

Laugh as the lives, stuck, wriggle like flies

Caught within

Full knowledge of what happens next

Full knowledge this is the end

This web of lies

So hard to destroy

built with iron-like silk

Withstanding hurricane storms

Of emotion

Never failing

Holding up to the winds

Collecting your sins

Only adding insult to injury

Is there escape to this

Un-thwarted fate

Is giving up an option?

No...

I will fight to the death

Battle until my last breath

Your name the last from my lips

About the Creator

Catherine MacKenzie

I write about murders, and murderers. I write of thoughts, confusions, victories, defeats. Of love gained and love lost. Of life in all its multi-faceted glory.
