sometimes I reach out to you

we touch, but never really feel

sometimes when I’m feeling blue

you make my color spill

sometimes when Ive lost control

you hug my fears away

and sometimes when Im needing more

I’m left in my mistakes

sometimes the world is wonderful

I feel the sunlight on my face

sometimes I’m feeling awful

and everything is out of place

sometimes I feel confused with so much left to lose

sometimes I just can’t move on even when I’m trying to

no matter where you found me

I’m always living on some ledge

being all I’m meant to be

with my feet coupling the edge
