Letters to the moon

Challenge

By Julianne TaitPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

She always had an affinity for the moon,

He was usually there for her,

And even when he wasn’t he left his presence known.

He always had time for her,

She fed him her secrets,

He satisfied her need for safety.

She knew the place to turn,

Was his soft smile.

When he left, she knew he would return.

Theres something sacred

in things that offer permanence.

For this, she said thank you.
