Winter's icy fingers grip the land,
A frozen veil across the sand,
But not all are affected the same,
Some find warmth in winter's flame.
For some, the season brings delight,
The crunch of snow beneath their feet at night,
The glow of fires, the smell of pine,
The joys of winter, all combine.
For others, winter brings its pain,
The bitter cold, the icy rain,
The loneliness of long, dark nights,
The absence of familiar sights.
But still, we must embrace the chill,
For winter brings its own unique thrill,
A time of rest, a time of peace,
A time when all of nature sleeps.
So though it's not the same for all,
Winter's beauty will never fall,
For in its frosty, crystal guise,
We find a beauty that never dies.
