Let Us Never Forget Them

Those who never returned from war

In memory of our lost soldiers, poppies bloom,

Each petal a tribute, soft whispers of the past,

Tales of courage linger, where brave hearts amassed.

For every heart that bravely beat, now rests in sacred peace,

In fields of remembrance, their legacies never cease.

They stood for our tomorrows, in battles fierce and bold,

Through the blooming poppies, their stories are retold.

With each bloom that graces the land under the sun,

We honor the heroes, the valiant, the one.

Let us gather our hearts, let our spirits entwine,

In gratitude and love, their memory shines.

The poppy colors a memory of men’s blood that was shed,

The survivors kept on marching ahead,

With hearts full of tears, they marched to homeward lands,

Obeying the orders, the sad fierce commands.

Be not forgotten as you rest,

In God's care and love, forever blessed.
