Let the hurt go, my dear,

Release the pain, don't fear,

Let it flow like a river,

And let your heart quiver.

The past is gone, it's done,

Let go of what's already spun,

The memories may linger,

But don't let them linger longer.

The hurt can be a heavy load,

Dragging you down on the road,

But if you let it go, Your spirit will surely grow.

The pain may be hard to bear,

But don't let it hold you there,

It's time to spread your wings,

And let your soul take flight and sing.

Like a phoenix, rise from the ashes,

And leave behind the past's clashes,

Let the hurt go, and be free,

Embrace the present,

and let it be.

Let go of the pain,

let go of the sorrow,

And welcome a brighter tomorrow,

Let the hurt go, my dear,

And let joy replace the fear.

So, spread your arms and let the wind

blow,

And dance like there's no tomorrow,

Let the hurt go, my dear,

And live life without any fear.
