"Les Fleurs Du Mal"

Every single day a step to hell we take― Beauty is evil.

By Matt B.Published 12 months ago 1 min read

Just as the orchid opaques the tuberose.

And the tuberose to the rose recites:

"Oh my late flower

May the veil wither on juniper nights.

love chrysanthemum

Like the sun, God, you dye lilac

Thousand-scented dreams.

And hundreds of loves, not reached"

Beauty walks Death row

Announcing the burial of a deceased.

Magical cruelty, irascent Martyr

Walk seducing the native immortal.

*

Pain precedes triumph.

Triumph and loss: thousand triumphs.

There is no horror without guilt.

There is no life without death.

*

Title and subtitle inspired by Charles Baudelaire's book "Les Fleurs Du Mal".
