Lavender Fields/Stone Peaks
A poem about nature vs nurture and healing your inner child

Delicate lavender blooms a field
We weep and wail and come again
Tender and pure hearts find a home
To dine on the sorrows of the past
~
Hard hearts were not built
To withstand such serenity
I know you did not come this way
But who marred the beauty of your face?
~
Love transforms
Be you noble or low
If the touch be sweet, and I promise it is
Then you shall be reborn in honeysuckle and wildflowers
