Compared to the last car ride home with you

That car ride

You made me feel empty

Hurt and alone

I shouldn’t of felt alone when I was with you

It’s better to actually be alone, rather than feel alone when your with somebody

Now that I am on my own

Everything makes more sense

Because you aren’t here to hurt me

Your absence makes me stronger

They should make me feel at peace
