King of Love

Not on a throne of jewels and gold he sits,

This King of Love, whose touch the spirit knits.

No crown of diamonds rests upon his brow,

But kindness etched, a gentle, caring vow.

His kingdom vast, not measured by the mile,

But by the hearts that wear his loving smile.

He conquers not with sword or battle cry,

But with a warmth that melts a tearful sigh.

His court, a tapestry of souls entwined,

By threads of loyalty, forever kind.

No courtiers here in lavish gowns arrayed,

But friends who share their burdens unafraid.

His laws, unspoken, etched upon the soul,

To cherish, nurture, make compassion whole.

To lift the fallen, mend the broken wing,

With gentle words that hope and comfort bring.

His castle walls, not built of stone so strong,

But trust and faith that right the coming wrong.

No moats of fear, nor guards with watchful eyes,

But open doors where honesty resides.

His banner bright, not silk with heraldic crest,

But empathy's embrace, a loving quest.

No blazoned lions, fierce and bold and grand,

But open arms outstretched, a helping hand.

His subjects loyal, not by blood or birth,

But by the choices made upon this earth.

To choose compassion, forgiveness, and grace,

To leave behind a world of cold embrace.

His reign eternal, reaching far and wide,

Where love's soft light forever will reside.

No need for conquest, battles fought and won,

For love's sweet victory, in every heart begun.

This King of Love, unseen, yet ever near,

His gentle presence quelling doubt and fear.

No need for pomp, nor glory's fleeting spark,

For in each loving deed, he leaves his mark.

So let us pledge allegiance to his law,

Where kindness reigns, and hearts find what they saw.

For in this kingdom, built on love's embrace,

We find true solace, and a lasting place.
