keep calm and breathe

in murky waters

so many things left unsaid

as if hidden under an invisible carpet

where we all went, inadvertently

and I kept all our secrets spare

from the world’s greatest affairs

that will catch up with us in the end

in a different form and shape

holding on to old pains

when we all know that’s not the way

decimated by diseases of all kinds

physical, mental, and combined

we all know we are one team

just left unsaid, revealed

antagonistic attitude from all of us

misunderstood, pushed off the deck

bearing the lack of good intentions in mind

what was all this for?

we only have one life

so, what if we drown

in this chaotic, unpredictable flow?

what if we helped each other out

be on opposite sides

unable to return

to the original calm state of mind?
