Karmic Lines

Past love in present eyes

By Vanta LuminaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I looked into her eyes and saw him looking back at me.

The lines that etched her face told stories of emotions running deep—

All the shared joys and borrowed sorrows,

the lost yesterdays and gone tomorrows,

A face that was anything but hollow,

Baring it all in front of me.

Yes, I see you now, my love, I see that you’re not gone.

I’d hoped the pain had left this world, I’d hoped it had moved on.

And she, like you, is mine from here throughout eternity.

And here I will remain with her till her heart no longer beats.
