Static charge

Ka-zing, ka-zap, ka-zow!

Energy burns through me,

As if I've connected with socks from the dryer.

No - stronger

Like I've touched a bug zapper.

No - stronger

As if I've grabbed an electric fence.

No - stronger still

I've been struck by lightning.

Yes, strong like lightening.

Ka-zing, ka-zap, ka-zow!

Who would have known

Lips could hold such power?

I couldn't disconnect if I wanted to.

You've super-charged me,

Shocking my body into submission.

In a way, it's painful.

A small part of me fears what is to come.

But overwhelmingly, it's hot, exciting.

I'm thrilled for what is to come.

Can my body survive your sheer force?

I will know soon, after the next

Ka-zing, ka-zap, ka-zow!
