Just Wrapped up in Life

I thought we would see the end

But who knows when that is.

I thought we'd make it to the end

But I don't think it'll be in our generation.

I thought I was giving up on making it to the end

But then I realized I already did.

Now I'm disgusted with myself cause this actually is the end

Just like we were told, it wasn't by chance, we didn't just happen upon it.

Don't know why we're surprised, it happened just like it was said.

No denying anymore and pushing it back in our heads.

We know it's the end, and it's our own fault we didn't prepare for it.
