Peer pressure, it's such a drag

Making you do things you'd rather not, like a nag

They say "everyone's doing it"

But you're not sure, you're just a bit

They tell you to try this drink

But you're thinking, "I'm not on the brink"

They want you to smoke that cigarette

But you're thinking, "I'd rather not, I'll just jet"

They want you to cut class

But you're thinking, "I'll pass"

They want you to shoplift

But you're thinking, "I'll pass, that's a big rift"

Peer pressure, it can be tough

But remember, you're the captain of your own ship, that's enough.

You don't have to do something you're not comfortable with, just to fit in. Stand up for yourself and do what you think is right. Remember that in the end, it's your own actions and choices that define you, not those of your peers.
