Just One Step Closer
Come closer, love, no need to race,
the night is slow, the shadows trace
the curve of lips, the touch of skin,
where quiet fires burn deep within.
One step closer and you are mine,
no diamond shines, no grand design,
just whispered words and fingertips,
and all the longing on my lips.
No velvet rope, no guarded gate,
just heart to heart, no room for fate,
I hold the night, I call your name,
you spark my wild, you feed my flame.
So take the step, don’t hesitate,
you’ve knocked, I’ve left the door unlocked,
no games, no rules, no measured line,
one step closer and you are mine.
