I know I am just a girl,

a girl who answered your text,

The first and maybe the only, definitely not the best,

I know I am just a girl,

who said yes,

without thinking about the rest,

I know I am just a girl,

who was invited as a company,

To share our commonalities, to feel less lonely,

I know I am just a girl,

who sees where you are in this world,

and accepts it despite my romantic whilrs,

See, I know I am just a girl,

to fill and block out the feelings in your mind,

Someone to share a connection with while you pass the time,

You know, I know I am the girl,

Who agreed to come over to your home,

stepping into expectations of the unknown,

You know, I know I am just a girl,

who isnt your type,

There's no reason to lie, but something about you I like,

You see, I know I'm not your girl,

And probably am not going to be, but that's okay,

Yet there is something about you that makes me want to stay.
