If one person reads this post and it brings them joy then I feel like I've done my job as writer. I feel like the ultimate goal of each creative person is or should be to bring their readers joy. Joy is what gets us going and keeps us progressing forward toward our goals or dreams. Joy is a simple feeling deep within our hearts. Joy is precious and worth so much. Some events from history are so strange that we should all take a moment, look back, and collectively say WTF. This is one of those. It's about a man so hated that his corpse was dug up for the sole purpose of mutilating it because being dead wasn't good enough (bad enough?) for those who hated him. Can you think of anything more hate-fueled that could happen to a dead body?
