Joy

Be filled with happiness

By Angel Nicodemus Published 9 months ago 1 min read

**Joy**

In the tapestry of life's design, so fine,

There we find a thread, like sparkling wine,

A precious hue, a radiant beam,

That lights our days, fulfills our dream.

Joy, the echo of a heart's delight,

A sunbeam's kiss in the morning's light,

It dances in our souls, pure and bright,

A symphony of laughter, taking flight.

From the laughter of children at play,

To the love that warms the coldest day,

Joy wears a thousand faces, they say,

In its embrace, our worries all decay.

It's the bloom of flowers in spring's embrace,

The feeling of freedom, wide-open space,

A melody sung with heartfelt grace,

A tender smile on a friend's face.

Joy leaps in the steps of a dancing pair,

It hums in the breeze, it's everywhere,

It whispers in the stillness of the night,

A gentle lullaby, a soothing sight.

In art's creation, in music's sound,

In love's connection, it can be found,

It's in the bonds that tightly bind,

In the simple pleasures, a peaceful mind.

It's the taste of victory, hard-won,

In the birth of a new day, with the rising sun,

A sense of purpose, a battle won,

In the journey of life, a marathon run.

Yet, joy's not a constant, nor a guarantee,

It's often found in moments, not decree,

Sometimes fleeting, like a passing dove,

But its memory lingers, a treasure trove.

It's the beauty of life, both big and small,

The heart's response to a wondrous call,

It's in the giving, not just in the gain,

A radiant sunbeam through the rain.

In trials and triumphs, it finds its way,

It's a choice we make, come what may,

To seek the light in the darkest night,

And let our hearts take joyful flight.

So, cherish joy, let it be your guide,

In life's great tapestry, let it reside,

For in its embrace, we find our song,

A melody of the heart, where we belong.
