what they say about

God and man.

The best laid plans…

I gathered

pieces of me

and sent them off

for judgment.

It’s true

what they say about

obstacles.

Opportunities in disguise…

The verdict

came back.

I was guilty

of overstepping.

It’s true

what they say about

clouds.

Silver linings…

Mediocre Kim

was born.

She battered me and

beat me down.

It’s true

what they say about

doors.

One closes. One opens…

I stood up.

I hit back.

I bloodied her

and left her for dead.

It’s true

what they say about

resilience and grit.
