With that, you could buy a lot of honey

There’s so much one person would be able to buy

From a brand-new BMW to a yummy Dutch apple pie

A welcome purchase of canned goods for the local food bank

Or a donation to fill some disaster victim’s gas tank

But to spend it all on one auction

I would have to heed caution

As I’ve never before held that much cash

I would not want to do anything rash

Then I would never get any rest

Living simply is the best

So, I think if I had that much to spare

I would find those who need a share

You may find this belief funny

But it’s only money
