Isolation

A study on watching someone self-sabotage

I let you into my kingdom

You think you'll stay a while

It's warm and loud but you're afraid to smile

You don't really want to stay inside do you?

The blizzard is all the rage outdoors

You wanna test your luck being alone in the storm

Maybe you think you'll find something more

You don't really want shelter do you?

I ask for time to pack you a goodie bag for the road

But there's so many rooms, it's a wild goose hunt

I can't find you but I should have known

You don't want me to find you, do you?

Time flies by

Are you even still inside?

Sometimes I think I see signs of life

You don't want to be caught, do you?

I'll close my eyes and give you a head start

You can leave but I think I'll stay here

I don't want a blizzard to ice my heart

You don't think it's avoidable, do you?
