he stood in the doorway

and yelled up at me

ARE YOU READY TO GO?

it was a quarter to three

I screamed, mind your business

tell me, what is the hurry

no one's having fun

till we're drunk, seeing blurry

remember the time Joel fell off of his chair

well, that never happened, until no one was there

except me and you

because I'm always late

don't tell me you don't like it

if you do, then why do you wait?

**

ARE YOU READY TO GO?

I asked, while he was snuggled up in his chair

you've been reading that book, while I was doing my hair

which isn't much of a task, because I'm wearing a wig

so that I am able to flip it when we do our little jig

besides it goes with the spandex I was planning to wear

though I look like I've hidden a whole a pig under there

all rollie and pollie, but my wig is divine

when they ask, introduce me as a fine manicured swine

so, come on and get up, I have gotten quite hungry

they'll have food where we're going?

please tell me that they will have something

ARE YOU READY TO GO?

on second thought, just forget it

that spandex has shrunk

and I can't get it to fit

and I think you are drunk

so, we should just stay home

and make our own kind of drama

making prank call on our phones

to either one of our mamas.
