I’m Not Sorry For

I know it may be Taboo

But it’s a part of life

Becoming someone who

Someday, I just might like

I’ve been so many people

From the cradle to the grave

Longing for the needle

Directing happy to my veins

I keep my feelings for you

Locked up safely in a drawer

I feel I’ve got something to prove

But I can’t love you anymore

I miss the me I was

Before you left me broken on the floor

Craving the applause

That can never make me whole

Oh, what a waste of time

Blaming this heart of mine

Love was my biggest crime

I’m so glad that it was blind

I’ll blend into the scenery

Till it becomes a part of me

Faded away and out of view

While standing right in front of you
