First and Foremost,

As your Earthly Host,

Let Me say, Welcome,

My Friend!

There's much to see!

If you will, Follow me!

And I'll show You

All that I've kenned.

We have Jets and Trains,

And Boats and Planes-

We use those to

Get around.

There are Bicycles, Skateboards,

And Automobiles.

But walking is best,

I've found.

We've got Crows and Crustaceans,

Ducks, Horses, Dalmations-

Those are Dogs,

They're one of our Favorites.

There's Zebras and Quails,

Kangaroos, Goats and Snails,

And Grizzlies-

They'll tear You to Bits.

We have Rivers, Volcanoes!

They spit Lava! Tornadoes!

Those are Clouds that can

Suck a House into the Sky.

We've got Valleys and Mountains.

Canyons, Buttes, Fjords and Fountains!

Some blow a

Hundred Feet high!

And TREES!

Oh, the Trees!

Just wait till You see!

All of our

Stunning,

Spectacular,

Statuesque,

TREES!

There's Redwoods, they're the TALLEST.

Dwarf Willows are the smallest.

The Bull Oak is

Hard as Granite.

The Amazon Rainforest is

Chock full of Trees!

They're the Lungs

Of our Planet.

And of course, You know

Of our Blue Oceans below

They're filled with

Incredible Creatures!

Sharks, Dolphins, and Whales

LOTS of Fish with Scales,

They're our most

Prominent Features.

From Water comes Life,

Though not without Strife-

You must have

Some of your Own.

I can't WAIT to hear

About YOUR special sphere!

It's SO GOOD to know

We're Not Alone.

We really must get on,

It will soon be Dawn.

But before, there's Something

I Must tell You.

Our Greatest Achievement,

One Hundred Percent,

Is Not something that

You can View.

We call it LOVE,

And when Push Comes to Shove,

It's Our Reason

For Living.

It's Kindness and Sadness,

Heartbreak and Gladness,

It's Healing,

And it's Giving.

The only way I know how,

If You will Allow-

To show you is a

Kind of Embrace.

We call it a HUG!

I'll wrap you up snug

In My Arms, Dear Friend

From Outer Space.
