find us another hero
bled in a rain of ambient fractals

spaces that lay between the seconds
or that are sometimes left behind
stand resolute and silent
theirs is not to remind
the spaces the voids
each second a gap

will allow it to flap
each waft of this web
each harrowing draft

a oneness connects us
from the stuff of stars

both in light
and in darkest shade
a birthright denied
everything; here it all beckons

time is a construct
a tool of control
in the gaps between seconds
the sum is the whole
the gaps are the answer
for in them you'll see
everything and nothing
