India, the Jewel of the East

Discovering the Colors, Cultures, and Treasures of a Nation Rich in Beauty and History

India, land of colors, sounds, and spice,

A nation so diverse, it's hard to suffice.

From north to south, and east to west,

India's beauty is truly the best.

The Himalayas rise, in the northern sky,

A mountain range so vast, it seems to defy.

The Ganges flows, through the heart of the land,

A river so sacred, it's hard to understand.

The deserts of Rajasthan, so dry and so bright,

The camels and sand dunes, a true delight.

The backwaters of Kerala, so green and serene,

The palm trees and rice fields, a beautiful scene.

The history of India, so rich and so old,

From the Mughals to the British, stories untold.

The Taj Mahal shines, in Agra's city of love,

A monument so grand, it's a gift from above.

The food of India, so spicy and sweet,

From biryani to chaat, it's hard to beat.

The chai and lassi, a perfect drink,

To accompany the food, and make you think.

India, land of diversity and pride,

A nation so beautiful, it's hard to hide.

From the mountains to the sea,

India's beauty will forever be.
