How was I to know that I would see you there across the room?

Could I have predicted our fledgling love would grow?

What started as a friendship has strengthened over time

A caring some will never know

*

In your arms, I am focused on your charms

In your arms, I feel sheltered from all harms

I can feel my heart again

I'm the happiest I’ve been

In your arms

*

I want you to know that I want you by my side

I want you to know that I’ve chosen you for me

When we're together, I'm convinced that I've found home

Our bond surpasses ecstasy

*

In your arms, I am focused on your charms

In your arms, I feel sheltered from all harms

I can feel my heart again

I’m the happiest I’ve been

In your arms.
