A Love Poem

In Your Arms

How was I to know that my life would take this turn?

Could I have predicted how much you’d help me grow?

What started as a friendship has strengthened over time

A caring some will never know.

In your arms, I am focused on your charms

In your arms, I feel sheltered from all harms

I can feel my heart again

I‘m the happiest I’ve been

In your arms.

I want you to know that I want you by my side

I want you to know that I’ve chosen you for me

We have a love that will surely stand the test of time

A bond surpassing ecstasy

In your arms, I am focused on your charms

In your arms, I feel sheltered from all harms

I can feel my heart again

I’m the happiest I’ve been

In your arms.
