There is a man I see in the light,

He who is White,

Though I am dark in the light,

I have returned to him in the night,

I sneak out to meet him because I love him, because i adore him,…because he is white AND because he is right,

With an attitude I cannot win,

I have listened to him,

I have only added to his smile from a grin,

I have Gained his trust,

You ve ALL asked why,

And I’ve replied,

I am lighter when he is white, because if I don’t respond right,

I will dissolve like a vapor in to the darkness and not respond like the light.

Like Jesus who Accepts us for who we are and finally does What’s right.
