There's something in the air.

Something strange is afoot.

Are there patterns that I'm not seeing?

Are there signs that I've missed?

I've been burnt before.

Blinded by the light of the truth.

Deafened by the voices of freedom and justice.

The little things that help us get by.

Damaged by the actions of others.

Their words cut like knives.

Threatening what little peace there is.

Masters of manipulation.

Wanting to devour the simple mind.

Disengaged from all reality.

New perspective is lost on them.

Silence is not the key to joy.

Patience may outlive them all.

But the nonsense is taking over.

Time flies by in this short life.

Enjoy the end of your days.
