In love by sunrise
I know in this moment, I am yours
After the morning after,
After the night before,
Love and lust intermingle
As we are both taken to new heights of ecstasy.
The delightful fragrance of your cologne lingers
As a sweet reminder of your masculine presence.
The exchange of energy unparalleled,
You were mine for the night.
As I lay on your chest and wonder how long this bliss will last,
Conforted by your warm embrace,
I know in this moment, I am yours
And you were mine for the night.
The questions that loom,
Were never imposed by you,
However, you have to silence the doubt…
But only if you choose, of course.
As you lie peacefully next to me,
Softly breathing and drifting off to sleep,
I know I could love you by sunrise
And you seem to be worth the chance
You, my love, are a hard book to read
There is much for me to learn about you
And in that lies the beauty of new encounters
