In counting All the Stars

The Destiny does magic

Top Story - March 2025

On a March night,

when the frisky cool wind

was our only companion.

You and I were lying on the ground,

where we always craved to see

the night sky at its best.

My hands were a bit restless

as they were by your hands.

After seeing the sky manifesting the magic of cosmos,

you whispered to me to,

count all the stars till the night ends.

I thought looking at the sky,

where I have shared millions of thoughts with.

Then I started counting from the pattern Orion,

which I always loved watching.

Yeah, there I counted the glistening seven of it.

Then, again I fell into a sea of thoughts

and gave up the idea of counting all stars,

and you were silently wondering.

There I could count to nine

as I counted two more after seven.

The last two glowing stars

stopped my heart for a while

and I found myself

gently gravitating toward them.

I saw all the stars, galaxies, and universe

in those forever glowing stars.

I felt those two stars

warmed up all the veins in my body

in a relieving way

as I saw love, respect, gratitude,

truthfulness, honesty, playfulness,

bravery, strength, and calmness in them.

With all these precious gifts they offer

why would I ever even think of,

counting any more?
