In Between Romance

But Hopeful

Seems I’m always standing on the sidelines

On the shores of doubt and rising tides

Longing for the right guy

To drown in the pools of my eyes

Wearing crowns of thorns

To hide the pedals falling down

Needing to get lost

To find some new ways to be found

Wishing on the stars

To find they’ve been swept up in my arms

Baring battle scars

Showing the commitment of my charms

Instead, it’s like I’m swimming

Flailing head first under water

A sinner unforgiving

A bastard child, without a father

Face to face affection, without a single word to say

I wonder what I’ve done for god to leave me here, this way

Is it love or punishment

For something that I can’t remember

I guess I’ll have to wait another month to find true love in mid December
