down within the glance of the charred old moonlight

the voices of kindness remain sorrowful and silent

their whispers morph to subtle symphonies

too frail to acknowledge the fate their destiny paints so well

echoes of hope bombard the rippling silence within galactical destinies

leaving only the sun to gently soothe what is left of the world.

There is such great imagery in this. "Charred old moonlight" is just great and the idea of the sun being the only thing left to soothe the world? Heartbreaking. Desolation is what I get from this and a forgotten people. Despite the sadness, I loved this.
