I want to be lost in your thoughts

Octobers very own

The very words that god himself would breathe

To taste the sweetness of your lips

To fit fully in your form

The final piece that makes my heart a home

I want to be lost in your thoughts

When December’s all but gone

The ones ensuring you will never leave

Ancient words stirring the deep

Keeping the spirit warm

The ones with memories of you and me

I want to be lost in your thoughts

In every season, till there’s none

The words giving you courage to believe

Fresh pine and scents of petrichor

A death worthy of the coming eve

A worthy adversary of reprieve
