You gave me your excuses

In place of desire

Lighting all the fuses

While fanning the fire

You offered lame excuses

Destroying the calm

that kind of help is useless

When your love is the bomb

My mind is a museum

I visit time and again

Competing in this threesome

With your damn reflection

Said, I'm sorry baby, you know sometimes love can be tough

Tangled in your lies and some discounted handcuffs

I gave you all my love and you gave me almost enough

You're a real big talker, but you can't deliver the stuff

But I finally see the truth now

yeah, I am well aware

You delivered all the proof, wow

It's clear that you never cared

So I'll just buy my own flowers

And take care of my own

I'm taking back my power

And you can leave me alone
