If we were dragons
In the world of imagination
If we were dragons,
If we were dragons, fierce and bold,
Our wings spread wide, our flames untold,
We'd soar high above the world below,
Breathing fire wherever we go.
The skies would tremble at our might,
Our scales would gleam in the sun's light,
And all who saw us would gasp in awe,
As we flew on with fearsome roar.
But would we be content with just this?
To rule the skies, to never miss
A chance to show our strength and power,
To burn and destroy in every hour?
Or would we see beyond our fire,
To the world below with all its desire,
And use our might to protect and defend,
To guide and help until the end?
For though we may be dragons, strong and true,
Our hearts still beat with love and virtue,
And with our power, we can choose to be,
Protectors of all, both land and sea.
So let us spread our wings and fly,
And use our fire to light the sky,
Not just to conquer, but to inspire,
To lift up those who are in dire.
For if we were dragons, fierce and bold,
Our hearts would shine like molten gold,
And all who saw us would know the truth,
That power lies in love and youth.
