If periods could speak to the girl

A monthly friend

Periods, a monthly friend,

A talk we must attend,

With a girl, so young and fair,

Let's share, without a care.

We bring a gift, though it may seem small,

A reminder of a cycle, natural to all,

A sign of health and fertility,

A journey that must be honored, so infinitely.

We know you may not always love us,

With cramps and mood swings, you might fuss,

But we're here to tell you, it's alright,

It's a part of life, with a purpose in sight.

So when we come, do not be afraid,

Embrace us, with courage unafraid,

We'll be gone soon, and then we'll rest,

Until the next cycle, when we'll meet the test.

We may be messy, but we bring life,

So hold your head up, and face us with pride,

For you are strong, and capable,

And with each cycle, you'll only grow stable.

So let's talk, my dear girl,

About periods, let's give it a whirl,

For it's a journey, we must undertake,

Together, for a better, healthier future to make.

If periods could speak to the girl,

They'd say, "Oh dear, don't you twirl.

We come each month, as you know,

Bringing pain and discomfort, oh so.

But don't you fret, for we bring life,

The gift of fertility, free from strife.

Embrace us, dear, don't push us away,

For we are a part of you, each and every day.

We may cause cramps and make you feel blue,

But we are a reminder of the power you grew.

So listen to us, heed our call,

And you'll stand tall, through it all.

We are a symbol of your strength,

A reminder of what you can endure at length.

So next time we come, take a deep breath,

And know that we bring you one step closer to your best."

If periods could speak to the girl,

They'd say these words, with a gentle twirl.

Embrace them, dear, they're a part of you,

For they are a testament to all that you can do.
